Ford Chevy T-Shirts are available at the next two meetings for club members to buy. Small, medium, large and XL are $10. Two X and XXX are $12. Terry Hibbard also still needs volunteers to sell T-Shirts on Sunday at the drags. There will be two locations that will need someone to help sell the T-Shirts.

The Holiday Inn phone number that was in the September Newsletter was wrong. The correct number is (228) 868-8200 code FCD. The room rates are the same as last year also, $59. Sunday is an all race day at the Gulf Port Drag facility. Gates open at 7:00 for racers and 8:00 for spectators. Get your car through tech Saturday to avoid any last minute issues on Sunday. You will get 3 time trial runs and they start at 9:00. You will have to run your time trails in the bracket group you have signed up for. We are adding additional security for the race with assignments for certain locations.

Tickets will be mailed September 11th for last year's participants. Tickets for anyone who have asked to be put on the list will be mailed September 13th. Special thanks to Bobby Achor for lining up all of the sponsors; Terry Hibbard for the T-Shirts; Billy Williams as the chairperson for the car show and coordinating the staging lanes; Theresa Payne for the Hotel arrangements and David Garland for getting everyone to work together. Help you club with this event. If you see an opportunity to make this a success, do it.

Please consider others when parking at the track and follow all directions as to where to park. Pit access is limited to racers only. Sundays race will pair up the baddest 100 Fords against the baddest 100 chevys in the area. Wheel standing Mustangs and Camaros along with roadsters and dragsters to fire up crowd and get the competition juices flowing.
