Racers piled into the Staging Lanes Sunday morning as Ford vs. Chevy 2000 got underway.

Time trials started promptly at 9:00 am.

But the crowd came to see the Exhibition racers. Here the 4X4 Mustang warms the tires.

Mike Borne was right with him in the '57 Chevy.

Ancel and Mark were up next blasting their way to the starting line with 7300 lbs of thrust.

The whole neighborhood shook as these two roared down the track.

But the real show came after dark as the Jets lit up the night in their final run.

The glow from the engines was all you could see as Ancel set a new track speed record of 310 MPH!
